Some of you are here to be the person who does it.  Your soul wrote a story of impossible odds — for you to surmount — because it delighted at the opportunity to help humanity shed some of its mind-created limitations… stretch people’s perceptions of what is possible… open their minds to the far vaster reaches of their own potential.
Don’t shy away from your dreams.  They are the dreams of all mankind.  And you are here to show them that these dreams can and do come true.
Good luck, and enjoy your adventures.  :)

When I vowed years ago to embrace my own highest potential, I never realized how far I was going to have to stretch. To be perfectly honest, I had no idea of the full implications of that promise when I uttered it. (Oh, divine joke!)

Sometimes all the stretching is uncomfortable. But I guess my soul was extremely serious about that goal, so… here we are.

Still stretching.

"Our lives are not as limited as we think they are; the world is a wonderfully weird place; consensual reality is significantly flawed; no institution can be trusted, but love does work; all things are possible; and we all could be happy and fulfilled if we only had the guts to be truly free and the wisdom to shrink our egos and quit taking ourselves so damn seriously."

"… I think we should ask ourselves again: what are we capable of? And then, quite calmly, go off in search of our own immense potential."

"At certain points in life one encounters an unknown emptiness, like running into a wall. One either breaks through to explore this vacuum, this darkness within or succumb to attachments - to addiction, to misery, to sex, to food, even to spirituality. Don’t fear this emptiness, explore it! - You may find that this dark chasm is just an illusion, it doesn’t have to be believed - within and beyond this unknown is the source of creative passion, of blissful communion with life and all that is - and this void, this perceived emptiness is seen as a place to manifest whatever and wherever your focus lies."

"No home now, no loved occupation,
no belongings, no figuring profit and loss.
When this love comes, it is impossible
to worry about honor or reputation,
what the community gives, the more and the less.
There is no longer any demarcation line
between the worlds…
What is planted in each person’s soul will sprout.
We surrender to however that happens."
— Rumi

I once met the person I could have become. I assure you, the next few months felt like hell. But when you meet the person you could have become, see, your soul and all its helpers kick in, and they tell you exactly what you need to do: BE YOURSELF. It’s an instinctive process.

It’s hard work. And there are many “deaths” within a life, as death is change, and you will have to tear nearly everything down except that which speaks to the beauty of your heart and all its loftiest dreams. You will agonize. You will cry. You will throw things even, maybe, or you will run away. Or you will do all of that. But you WILL work through every remaining ounce of self-loathing and self-limiting and arbitrary anxiety and justifiable fear. You will mourn the very moment when your soul first split from its essence.

But then, you will wake up one morning and realize that you have been reborn.

And you will hardly recognize the old you, the false you, the fear version of you.

And you will see that you have healed. “Hell” was the illusion. You’re in a place of serenity now. You can create Heaven on Earth. You’re aware again that you have ALWAYS been connected to the Source. And you’re living that way.

Don’t wait until you think your body’s going to die. There is literally, every moment, a new dawn. Make this one yours.

I’m inclined to believe that it is the destiny of man to create “Heaven” on Earth.  Anytime somebody tries to tell you there are limits to things like human goodness, the vast potential of the “human” spirit, or the magic of unconditional love, try not to believe them.  Remember: “as above, so below.

And as within, so without.

The world you dream of is yours for the making.
